Case Study:
Drayton Drive, Mt Pleasant

A substantial multi-level home on a sloping hill site, this property was designed by Chaplin Crooks Architects and enjoys sensational views of Pegasus Bay – even from the kitchen bench.

Constructed of plaster over polystyrene blocks filled with concrete, the result is a highly insulated house for efficiency and comfort, whatever the season. A concrete mid-floor ensures solidity and prevents noise transfer between floors. Outside, dark-stained cedar complements the plaster cladding for timeless appeal.

Inside, a functional layout capitalises on the views from both indoor and outdoor living spaces, and high-spec finishes create a feel of luxury and sophistication throughout.
