Case Study:
Bluestone Drive, Waitikiri

This stunning multi-dimensional home of 330 m², designed by Hierarchy Architects, was built to exacting standards for a client who is a bespoke cabinetmaker – with an eye for detail!

Layered forms clad in Rockcote with feature Bluestone facades create an impressive and visually engaging appearance. Cedar-clad soffit detailing is reflected inside the home with a cedar ‘TG & V’ (tongue and groove with a v-joint) ceiling in the lounge and stairway, where a cathedral-like ceiling height and high-set windows make this a real feature.

A Totara-framed pergola frames the exterior living and conceals a louvre roof system with clear drop-down sides, and the house has thermally broken foundations with in-slab hydronic heating.
